Autumn Term

Spring Term
Started: Monday, 5th January 2026
No rehearsal: Monday, 16th February 2026
Ends: Saturday, 28th March 2026
Mahler’s 8th Symphony (See poster below.)
Workshop Day. Saturday, 31st January 2026, 10:00am to 4:00pm, arrival and registration from 9:30am, at Holy Trinity Church, Leamington Spa, for Mahler 8, a local choirs’ collaboration, with over 400 performers playing and singing at Coventry Cathedral.
WKCS forms part of Choir 1 and WKCS members can register here.
Lending copies of the score will be distributed on the day, with no charge. The edition being used is published by Serenissima Music, edited by Josef Venantius Wöss, if you have your own copy.
Summer Term
Starts: Monday, 13th April 2026
No rehearsals: Mondays, 4th May 2026 and 25th May 2026
Ends: Saturday, 4th July 2026
Mahler 8 Additional Rehearsal Dates
Monday, 11th May, 7:00 to 9:30pm, for Full Choir 1, at Baginton Road, Church, Coventry, CV3 6FP.
Thursday, 14th May, 7:00 to 9:30pm, for all choirs, at Coventry Central Methodist Hall, CV1 2HA.
Friday, 15th May, 7:00 to 10:00pm, for all choirs, orchestra and soloists, at Coventry Cathedral, CV1 5AB.
Saturday, 16th May, 2:00 to 5:00pm, for full rehearsal at Coventry Cathedral. (Concert at 7:00pm.)
